Aloha, how have you been? So, I couldn't sleep because I have been dancing for the past 1 hour to a particular song (for those who want to know, it is 2 am over here). I just stopped dancing because I have to share this beautiful song with the world, as well as a few songs on my playlist; I hope you like it (my apologies in advance to those who won't be able to understand the song). I would really appreciate it if you could recommend a few songs to me. Even if the songs do not fit into my categories of songs that will be listed below, please share. I would really appreciate it.
Very few things interest me, but those things that do, I hold dear to my heart. One of the very few things close to my heart (apart from family, water, salad, Chris Breezy and Trey Songz, romantic novels about hot boys, cute boys with beautiful eyes and radio) is MUSIC.
I have no genre, year produced, artist or language preference, I listen to any type of music; as long as I like it. I don't even have to understand the message behind the song (please ignore this fact). I have this unexplainable love for languages, especially when used in music composition. Please, don't judge me by my playlist, I just have a weird kind of playlist that appeals to my different moods.

a. Love songs (I am a helpless romantic, I love Love)
b. Breakup songs (Breakup is a very interesting part of a relationship)
c. Diss songs (I just like them, they come in handy most times)
d. Heartbreak songs (They are just so full of emotions and talk about the importance of appreciating your partner when they are with you before it is too late)
e. Gospel songs (I love Jesus too much)
f. Party tracks (not to many but a selected few)
g. Unqualifiable songs (I don't really know why I have these types of song, I just like them).
Basically this is the easiest breakdown for the songs I have.
I would start from my latest music addiction and list my top ten songs after it (there in no particular order). Here it goes:
Intentional Fuji by Mike Abdul: This is my latest music addiction, it is the best Christian song I have heard in a while. It has got me dancing and is keeping me awake. Fuji (this is a music genre) is bae. I especially like the "Jesu ni Karamo mi" part 😎😘😘😘
1) My Rock and Caribbean Christian by Jaron Nurse: I like funky Christian songs; please note, because the songs are from the same artist, it will serve as one song. These have a Caribbean feel to it. It is a carnival kind of Christian song.
2) Amaka by 2face ft Peruzzi: I just like the playful and pain-filled tone of the song (Amaka really disappointed them). I like the structure and a particular part in the song (Guess where).
3) African Star by Sauti Sol ft Burna Boy: Please if you know the meaning of this song, I would appreciate it if you interpret it for me. I love Burna Boy and the guys in Sauti Sol just know how to make me fall in love with them with their songs that I don't understand. I particularly love the ending of the song. #OluwaBurna fan#
4) Friends by Marshmellow ft Anne Marie: This is the best friend zoning song ever. It should be the friend zone anthem for the year (at least till another great friend zone anthem is released). It is just touching and I love the lyrics. I also like some other Anne Marie songs:
Bad girlfriend and Ciao Adios by Anne Marie: These songs are very dear to me, especially Bad girlfriend. They are cool. Ciao Adios is a great breakup song.
5) IDGAF by Dua Lipa: This is a great breakup song to be used for boyfriends that are satanic in nature. What a beautiful song.
6) Dead by Madison Beer: Well, this is one of the best songs I have in my playlist this year. Dear boys, be careful with the promises you make while trying to woo a lady, some can be taken seriously. It is just an advice. This is one of my best songs.
7) Cecilia and I Found A Girl by The Vamps: I have a strange attraction for boy bands. I Found a Girl is very funny song to me.
8) Echame la culpa by Luis Fonsi ft Demi Lovato: I loved the song before I even knew the meaning. It is a nice combination of languages.
9) Rock Me Tonight by Freddie Jackson: This oldie is just so touching. Mr Freddie must have been a smooth guy back in the days. He makes me want to fall in love.
10) Freaky Friday by Lil Dicky ft Chris Brown: I like the messages in the song. I particularly like Breezy's part in the song (my dear Chris Breezy). I love it when Chris Brown sings the chorus of a song, it is always very nice.
Thank you for following me on my playlist journey. I would really appreciate if you shared your playlist with me or if you have any song you think I will like. Thank you.

A very nice one there dear.
ReplyDeleteThough I love good cool music, I'm not just a fan of Nigerian modern musics; you'd rarely find them on my phone.
I love old blues (Celine Dion, Lionel Richie,.....) R&B, Country Music, Reggae, PoP and Rock, and old Juju like those of Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Shina Peters and some Apala 😂😂😂..
Now you'd call me a freak right? But that's just my taste, I like Nigerian hip-hop and I appreciate the crazy beat but I barely listen.
I love gospel songs as well, my latest one is "No longer a slave by Jonathan and Melissa Hesler", you're gonna love it.
Your playlist is filled with love and breakup songs 😂😂😂, both are not really my things but as long as a song has cool lyrics with good beat, I'll listen.
Your blogs are inspiring and entertaining.
Keep it up dear, God bless you mightily
Thank you, thank you and thank you very much for reading and commenting. Thank you for the song suggestion. Special thanks for your words of encouragement. It is words like this that keep me going. Thank you and God bless you.
